The Museum of Medicine aims to be both a place of memory and a teaching and research structure open to the general public. Thus, the Museum seek to contribute to a better understanding, not only of the history of the Faculty of Medicine, as the history of Health Sciences using the crossings and associations that, nowadays, the interdisciplinary research makes it possible.

O Museu de Medicina pretende ser, simultaneamente, um lugar da memória e uma estrutura de ensino e investigação abertos ao público em geral. Assim, o Museu procurá contribuir para uma melhor compreensão, não só da história da Faculdade de Medicina, como da história das ciências da saúde utilizando os cruzamentos e as associações que, hoje em dia, a investigação interdisciplinar possibilita.
